Things to do

The peaceful location of Hetton Hall is a natural home for Wildlife. Visitors to our campsite and gardens include hares, pheasant, partridges, deer with our resident red squirrels and owls. Bird lovers will be thrilled at seeing an abundance of wild birds including birds of prey and song birds such as bullfinches and yellow hammers.

Nearby are the bird sanctuaries of Budle Bay and The Farne Islands. Seals adorn the Farne Islands along with the famous Puffins (nesting time during summer is a great spectacle.) For those lucky enough, dolphin are spotted regularly along the coast.
