Do as much or as little as you want at Hetton Hall Holidays
At Hetton Hall Holidays we are sure that we have the perfect location for all,
whether activity or tranquillity is your thing!
Horse Riding
Whether you bring your horse on holiday with you (we have livery) or want to contact one of the many local riding centres, the location could not be more ideal.
Walking / Hiking
Close to the Kyloe Hills and St Cuthbert’s Cave, the surrounding area abounds with walks and bridleways making it ideal to explore on foot or horseback.
Golf
There are popular golf courses within a 15 minute radius at Wooler, Berwick and Bamburgh along with the Roxburghe Championship Course slightly further afield near Kelso.
Staying at Hetton Hall Holidays gives the opportunity to enjoy lazy days, looking out over fantastic views taking in the wildlife; red squirrels, deer, hares, partridge and pheasants are regular visitors to our gardens and camp site. The location and natural beauty demands an outdoor chair and BBQ with your favourite tipple to watch the blazing sunsets.
We are on the path of St Cuthbert’s Walk, regularly enjoyed by visitors to St Cuthbert’s Cave which can be seen from the grounds.
For those looking for more of an adventure, we are within walking distance of some of Northumberland’s fantastic climbing: www.northumberlandclimbing.co.uk
We are also on the route of The Sandstone Way, the 120 mile/193km mountain bike route from Berwick upon Tweed to Hexham. www.sandstoneway.co.uk/
Take the stress out of finding the right home for your pets whilst you holiday and bring them with you! We are dog friendly and don’t mind if you have more unusual pets too. We offer livery with grazing for your horses as we are located in the heart of scenic bridle paths.
http://map.northumberland.gov.uk/prow/ shows bridle paths and public footpaths in the area.
Past visitors include canoeists who explored the coast line, including around The Farne Islands and Holy Island.
